Courses & Programs to Purify, Heal & Transform

NEWS......California enacts the Massage Certificaton Law

On September 27, 2008 Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed SB 731 into law. This bill does not mandate anything for current individual massage practitioners and therapists. It is a voluntary certification bill and state certification would provide the certificate holder the right to practice anywhere in the state without having to secure massage therapy licenses from individual cities or counties. It is possible, however, that cities and counties may require state certification in the future as requirements for licensure. One important change....in order to legally call yourself  "certified" you will now need to be state certified. State certification will be available as of September 2009.

Important Note:  For a period ...until Dec 31, 2015 the State is offering the opportunity for applicants to obtain a renewable certification as Massage Practitioner with 250 hours of training at a single approved school.  After 2015 the state will require 500 hours of training for certification as Massage Therapist at a single approved school and the Massage Practitioner certification option will be dropped.

If you are are already practicing massage please feel free to contact us for clarification and understanding regarding required hours needed to complete the state requirements for certification.

Also NEW....... MODULAR  PROGRAM Now you can complete the Massage Practitioner or Massage Therapist course one module at a time. These courses will be offered to anyone interested in the content and may be applied to the hours required for the Certificate of completion for Massage Practitioner and Massage Therapist or to enhance your current training and complete the requirements for CA state certification. You will receive a certificate of completion upon completing the course requirements. Please see the schedule for course dates and costs. Also for a short description please see Courses & Costs.
