PATRICE
THIESSEN, O.M.D., L.Ac., C.M.T., Director and Founder of the Mount Shasta Institute of Holistic
Therapies Patrice has 25 years experience in Asian Acupressure/Shiatsu and
Swedish Oil Massage, certified in 1983 by the Santa Barbara School
of Massage and Nationally Certified by the NCBTMB in 2007. She received the degree of Doctor of Oriental Medicine
from Samra University of Oriental Medicine, Los Angeles, California
in 1988, specializing in Chinese Herbology and Medical Qi Gong. Patrice
completed a one year Medical Qi Gong Certificate program at Samra University
in 1991. She has been an approved Continuing Education Provider #ACP103
for the California State Acupuncture Examining Committee since 1989
teaching courses in Qi Gong for Health and Medical Qi Gong Therapy
for licensed acupuncturists. She has been in private practice for 20
years as a Licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbologist, Qi Gong
and Massage Instructor.
JOHN SCHULTZ, M.A., C.M.T., has been in private practice with Acupressure and Shiatsu for
26 years. He has taught Acupressure/Shiatsu for 25 years in Santa Cruz, Berkeley,
Ashland, Redding and Mount Shasta. He studied Barefoot Shiatsu with Shizuku
Yamamoto and teaches Tai Chi and Macrobiotic cooking as well. His work is deep
and gentle and his intent is to help the client to self heal.
PEGGY
RISCH, R.P.T., R.C.S.T., received her
degree in Physical Therapy from Indiana University in 1976. She
has been practicing Craniosacral Therapy since 1985. In Germany
she practiced a form of scoliosis therapy based on awareness
and breathing. She is also certified in Biodynamic Therapy, a

NATALIE GOUGEON, A.A., C.A., is a practitioner and perpetual student of the ancient wisdom of life known as Ayurveda. Through her research of 20 years, Natalie has discovered the importance of this holistic approach to healing. She now shares it by teaching Ayurvedic Health care and therapies such as Abhyanga Massage via courses and her publications including educational DVDs and Ayurvedic Guides, as well as offering treatments and pulse diagnosis consultations throughout the U.S. Her Northern California Health Center offers Pancha Karma treatments, customized to the patients needs, including personalized herbal products and formulas. Natalie has received degrees from the Himalayan Ayurveda Research Institute, under the Dean of Ayurveda at Benares Hindu University, with BHU Ayurvedic physicians in Nepal, and she is a graduate of the American Institute of Vedic Studies in the U.S. Her advanced studies/ apprenticeship have been with Dr. Mary Jo Cravatta of Shaktiveda, and the Ayurveda Healing Arts Institute in California. http://www.ayurvedicare.com.
